Microsoft describes a session collection as holding the apps and desktops that will be offered to users. The documented creation workflow selects the session host and the user-profile disk location for the collection. Applicability
Identify the application catalog intended for the collection and the host that will supply it. Review application ownership and installation requirements before publication. Keep creating the collection, publishing programs, and assigning user access as separately verified configuration decisions.

Record the collection name, selected host, program identity, and intended presentation to users. Pilot a small catalog before adding every installed program. Preserve the initial published list and agree on how an incorrect or retired application will be removed from the catalog.
Verification
Open the published catalog from a representative authorized client and compare its entries with the approved list. Launch each intended program and complete the agreed application transaction. Check that an explicitly excluded program is absent. Verify the result after a fresh client connection, and record display or launch discrepancies before expanding publication.
