Evidence before assertion

Official source register

How to read this register

Authority, scope, and freshness are separate questions.

Authority: DSE favors exact government, standards-body, vendor documentation, and manufacturer advisory pages over summaries or reposts.

Scope: An official source does not prove that every environment is affected. Product, version, configuration, exposure, licensing, and business context still matter.

Freshness: “Published” is the source’s date when available. “DSE reviewed” records when our team last checked the article and its primary reference.

Living documentation may not expose a fixed publication date. Those entries still show the DSE review date.
