Applicability

DSE recommendation
DSE recommends checking the proposed gallery name against both the naming rules and the subscription inventory before submitting the deployment. Keep the gallery name distinct from the names of image definitions and versions in the request. Record the subscription, resource group, region, and intended sharing audience together. If an internal naming pattern uses hyphens, agree the gallery-specific spelling before dependent deployment templates are written.
Verification
Inspect the deployment result and verify that the gallery appears in the intended subscription and resource group with the agreed name. Have the deployment owner compare the returned resource identifier with the request. Treat successful creation as the completion of this naming check; review sharing permissions and image content through their own acceptance steps.
